Well after 28,000km I have gone through my first set of tyres. So off I went to get new tyres but alas I could not help myself and look what I came home with:

no worries mate, i will call up and hassle them :D and organise them to deliver my "specially ordered" tempe tyres wheel display rack .... thats if they still remembered me... havent bought any new wheels from them lately.
what size are they and what tyres did you get? they look quite nice on the yellow did they treat you well after mentioning of my name :p j/k

I am back! I think the wheel is not compatible to me. Suited a yellow car owner I think :p

 

those rims looked quite good on a purple series 6 rx7 too :D

 

The tyres are 235/35/20 and are Nitto Extreme ZR NT-555. I am a little sceptical at the moment about the tyre, however they seem grippy enough, but the first track day will tell. The guys there assured me that in terms of performance that they are very very good and are a softer compound for good dry grip.

Anyhow they are only 6mm diameter larger than stocks, so speedo accuracy is not an issue, that was a big factor in my choice of rims.

The Bling factor is not as bad as it looks in the photo, as my wife said, "what's wrong wasn't the yellow bright enough already?" Hey but what do women know .
