Just got mine home
I finally picked mine up at 9.30 this morning. After an hour going through the delivery, we finally got to take it for a spin. Considering its my first manual I dont think I did too bad, but God its a struggle to keep it below 6000. I figure I should have the first 1000 up by Tuesday, maybe tomorrow if my wife falls asleep and I sneak out. My cheeks are so sore from 13 hours of grinning. I LOVE this car.

Grinning
Understand, wonder why I am sitting at this terminal?
No doubt we are all having a great time, need to schedule some meets in order to keep up the fun after the initial interest has worrn off!. or at least more excuses for fun!

Can agree with that. I did wollongong this evening, I think Palm Beach tomorrow, by the end of the week I will have run out of directions. I think I need to work on my shifts and hill starts before I slow up a whole convoy of 8's though.

Some recommendation:
1. Old Pacific Highway, Berowra - Mt white
2. Royal National Park, Wollongong (I hope you took this route when you went to Wollongong.
Very nice roads, with a lot of tight 2nd gear and 3rd gear corners. Hardly any police too, especially at night.:D

Finally !!
Finally, after nearly 8 months I get to pick up my Red Hi-Power tomorrow. I'm fitting in the trip to the dealer between my business appointments so I won't get to do a lot of driving in it tomorrow. But Friday I'll be in it most of the day and Saturday I'm off to Riverside Oaks for a round of golf. Really looking forward to that drive as I take all the winding back roads. I'll be leaving home at 0530 too, which means there's hardly anyone on the roads.

PDU good luck tommorow and have a blast friday... it's great to hear you're almost there...
I've got mine in for the first service Friday and then I'm off to Goulburn for the weekend (brother-in-law racing at Wakefield park)... no 6000 limit for me !! watch those rev's fly !!
Suggest you book yours in for the 1000K service when you pick it up...

Congratulations PDU. All I can say is the wait is completely worth it. I guess you will be driving yours by now. Enjoy.
I had my first service today, clocked onto 1000kms just as I drove up the service centre driveway. Ahh, the sweet chime at 9000 can finally ring.
