oi, by the way is there an rx8 community in Sydney?? when i meet the 8's they don't even beep or anything, most the time just driving with closed windows trying to appear as owners of the latest ferrari or something. Seriously, I haven't met any 8 owners in sydney even I see lot of those babies around the city area

I used to wave a bit but Eric's right - too many tryhards and wannabes in Sydney. They're too cool to acknowledge that you've got the same car because, like, they're so fully, like, an individual.
Best way to draw a few of the regulars out is to organise a cruise. It's not rocket science - name a date, time and meet-up point, identify the planned destination and just see who rocks up. The more lead time you give, the more likely it is to get bigger numbers.
I'll probably organise a few more this year but I'm a bit too busy with other stuff atm.

Well Eric and I ALWAYS wave when we see other rx8s on the road and they ALWAYS wave back. I think we are hard to miss tho... Eric beepin the car horn and me stickin my hands out window and waving...... hey we're just doin our rx8 duty and being friendly representatives......
Its funny watchin them wave back, they must think we are nuts hahaha

Victorian group is quite close... yes we all have bills to pay, the other guys also have their mortgages and families aswell.. u cant say only the sydney people have bills to pay..... I dont know why, but the Victorians just seem to be a group where we dont really argue or anything.. Perhaps we are just lucky to all get along. Some moron once said we were a group which seemed to be "dependent" on each other.. how hell are we dependent on each other just because we like to meet up once a month or so ? Isnt that what a club is about = getting together and such? Some people want to stay keyboard warriors thats their choice.. we like to put faces to names and interact in a humanly fashion. We dont only talk about RX8's, we dont only focus on the car aspect of the club, which goes to show we all have a good friendship amongst the group too. We all have lives outside the club aswell. But I know I am glad I joined, I've made some really good friends!!

Do I know him Eric?
