haha taka, to have a raw file of 20mb, the resolution would have to be insanely big, such that you won't see the whole picture on your monitor. :D you will have to zoom out like 3x+ times..
ever thought of converting the files to .jpg? =P heheh

playa ... the Canon raw files which does not copress in a 8MegaPix SLR Camera is about 20Mb. My wed photographer has his 3Gb hard drive in Nikon brand attach to his camera and download it to a harddisk/DVD in each location. JPEG compress the file and not for profession wedding photgrapher playa! He is going to print one 34X40" I think is one fo the to wall size wedding pic without losing pixelation
4 DVD worth of pic in total 424 pics during the day.

AMG - R Magic made 2 bracket for the RX-8, which very much look like stock. One is go to the top where the US model/Japan model has the navigation system. This is 1-Din which baby 8 has and can be used for installation of a DVD player. Another is to go into your smoker/lighter box in front of the stick. It is used to host 2 60mm guages. Like the oil temp and water temp gauges - look the same material used for the uphostery from Mazda and VERY stock looking. Very nice.

8B8Y 8 - you have to tell people how much does the 1-Din "STOCK looking" bracket costed you. :D

That's awesome. Have you got the sound playing through the stereo? I was considering this option myself, but I read a lot of threads in the audio section talking about how hard it was to get an aux audio feed directly into the stereo. Have you got the sound going through the Tape/MD selection? Looks great 8A8Y 8.

From my info from R Magic advertisement it is about 40000 yen. So just less than US$400, or AUD$600? 8a8y 8 had a group buy from Japan8 I recalled.

In 8a8y position it was worth it right, that the DVD player was from your previous car? Otherwise you will have a spare DVD player sitting at home, right?

Taka, I thought you were knowledgable, it's the new RX-8 white racing tape for all manner of RX-8 repairs and go fast additions. I have some fixing my new cardboard spoiler to the back of my car. :D

the piece from r-magic was acutually crap
very thin fiberglass and no clips to attatch it down they only gave you a bit of double sided tape to stick it down
i had to glue it down thats why there was tape
the piece looks good when it done though
i had to rewire the whole car so i did not tap it throught the stock head unit
i have been looking at sat nav but non of them have video out so i guess i can't connect to the dvd unless there is a satnav with video out
and finally it cost me $740 including shipping and tax installation cost me $350

that unit looks good. saw it today.

yeah as phil mentioned, the r-magic piece was pretty thin and it doesnt sit properly, bit disappointing. but overall, it looked great. :D

dont like how the r-magic guages sit. not enough angle towards the driver. looked too "flat" :o

Thanks for you feedback, I was VERY keen on the gauges box R Magic has. Now I have doubt to spend Y30,000 for a possible piece of crap. I might look for cheaper option unless I can see the R Magic thing live.

Hey Phil,

You mentioned that the unit is fibreglass?
Maybe EZZY can make a mold of it and sell it cheap(er) for tight ***** like myself?
