I bought a new one late 2007 and have only just started to sometimes rev to the red line now that it is run in. Acceleration is much better than I was expecting. I just love that constant rotary wail in the background and the way the car just sticks to the black top yet the ride does not rattle your fillings and wear you out. (I also have a well sorted 1981 Porsche 911 with a straight line performance virtually identical to the RX8 however I have had it out of the garage only once since I got the 8 !)

 

Bumping this thread since Revolver said post now were mostly about running cost and keeping it on the road.

I just want to say, "I still love this car."
It still puts a smile on my face and I still look back when I get out and think "Damn nice car!".
