Does anyone know how many RX8s have been delivered so far in Australia ... How many are expected to sell yearly ..

 

According to the MD of Mazda (I spoke to him at the Calder Track Day) about 280 in Australia from July to ealy September. Then 60 a month through to Jan. Then potentially another large batch early next year.

According to most dealers - orders this week are being delivered in Feb next year.

Think I saw figures on drive.com.au the other day that said Mazda sold 242 in August. Given that almost all were presold, that sounds about accurate to me.

 

Mazda moved around 200 in July & 240 in Aug. Expect similar figures in Sep.

Japan has quoted that the Aussie market will get 900 in by the end of 2003.

All are expected to be presold.

Production is at a rate of 8400 per month & we are only getting a small percentage of that due to our market size
