Question Hanging on the Mobile Phone

Hi Team,
This is my first post having run my RX (Titanium Grey with leather) for just over 7000k. Great site and really useful info. Simple question: any suggestions for a mobile phone holder/cradle for a Nokia 6100. I don't want a hands free kit, just a holder. The Nokia version requires drilling whuch sux!

Hi Beaves,

And welcome to "our place". We are all glad you find it helpful.

I recall L&L wanting to velcro his UHF to my console...

Cheers,
Hymee.

I had my Nokia CARK-71 professionally installed in my 10AE Miata. They had a special plate which mounted through the gap around the stereo fascia, and the Nokia cradle bolted onto it. When I sold the car, I removed the kit and the bracket, and you couldn't tell that anything had ever been there.

So the moral of the story is... consult a professional - they probably have exactly what you're looking for.

Hi Beaves

Welcome, as the others have said.

Go to http://www.dashmount.com.au

They have a bracket made especially for the 8 which instals as eccles says.

I can also recommend the THB Bury universal mobile hands free, available from point to point technologies -- www.ptp.net.au

This kit allows you to change cradles to accommodate a variety of handsets, and is much cheaper than alternatives.

I stuffed around with blue-tooth for a while but have reverted to hard-wired kits

Tim

that's right choppy..
actually, i'm thinking of using the case that comes with o2 as the case fits o2 like a glove.. (it normally goes to a waste as I don't like carrying around the big case...)
i will just need to source a good magnet and attach it to the case somehow
