I know that bad news about service travels very quickly in forums, however I feel that great service goes unmentioned too often.
I recently noticed a very feint rattle in my exhaust system when the engine is hot, additionally my car is almost 3 years old and almost out of warranty so I wanted a detailed inspection to see if anything needed to be fixed under warranty.

The exhaust was done over 2 years ago by Ric (In that time it has been through a lot in terms of track days etc). I called him and as he lives a couple of suburbs from me he offered to pick it up and take a look at it.
He picked it up on Wednesday night, took it to work and found a small crack in a weld joint. He then re welded it and gave the car a once over including the piggy back ecu.

He dropped it back last night and the car is running great, the best bit was he said as it didn't cost him anything but a bit of his time and a bit of welding, that there was no charge. This is even though the exhaust is way out of any form of warranty.

I have found that these days you get charged for every little thing by some people, however I have to applaud Ric Shaw. The service was excellent and confirms my reasons for buying my gear from him.
