got my car lowered today - pics UP!

30 mm at the rear and 40mm at the front. It was a custom job and it looks amasing!

The ride has not been sacrificed whatsoever and it sits so much nicer on the road. Handeling has improved substantialy and believe it or not, alot less body roll.

Melbournites, call Rob @ The Suspension Center 9356 4591.

It took around 5 hours to do the job. Rob explained the entire process from start to finish. Great work and the price is UN-BELIEVABLE!

What happens after the initiall settling in period with your suspension , it may drop another few mm .

The 02 wire sensor near the catalyctic converter is already pretty low on the stock car , so yours could be in danger of getting snagged a lot easier .

cheers
michael

Ground clearance laden mm 120 from the mazda spec's.
sorry to be a spoil sport.

I bet it looks good tho, the std clearance in the guards is alot.

I have had no end of trouble with lowered cars due to minimum ride height rules I have had reputable companies springs settle (sag) an inch! due to this I'm only going to buy mazdaspeed springs and none of the rubish made here for $400 a set.

Ok here they are. The pics are SHOCKING, I had the camera setting on night or something and they came up real shakey. will get day pics soon. look great tho!

Ok, the process is this.

They take your original springs and re-roll them! The cost is cheap as **** ($250) and you know that the quality of the product remains the same. This process cannot be reversed, but why would you want to with a result like this, superb handeling and striking/smoot looks!

honestly, the ride is great. Its a touch stiffer (to be expected) but does not bottom out, ive been testing with it. handles like a go-cart on rails. had 3 big boys in it before and they said it felt stock.

i've had low low cars in the past and i'm over it so this is not wild.

they use your standard springs and re-roll them. Much cheaper and using an already top quality part.
