FS: 2003 Yellow RX-8

Well I waited till the new year to do this and now the time has come to advertise my pride and joy.

2003 RX-8 Manual Leather Pack (56 800km) - This car has every available option (sunroof was not released in 2003). Additionally it has the DBA front rotors with the Hawk Plus pads, Ric Shaw sports exhaust, Ric Shaw Piggy Back ECU, Vault 20inch mags.

Fully factory serviced since new this car has been fastidiously maintained.

Asking $41,500.
The car is also advertised on Cars Guide.

PM me if interested.

Cheers,

Gibbo

Yep, the beast should be on a boat very shortly, it is due here in March so I thought I should start trying to sell the Rx.

End of an era really, I will be sad to see her go.

For those budding tyre kickers out there, I've seen (and heard ) this car in the metal and am happy to vouch for its condition and the character of its owner. He's not kidding when he says it's been looked after.

Stay in touch Gibbo . Look forward to seeing your new beast when it arrives.

Gibbo, you might want to try an ad on Ausrotary -- here, you are preaching to the converted (or in my case, peverted )

So that makes two of us with 335i coupes then Gibbo? I've had mine for three weeks now. Will try to post a pic or two now the Christmas/ New Year chaos is over.
The car is so utterly different to drive from the RX8 it practically defies comparison. That's not to say it trounces the RX8 either (there are several things the 8 clearly does better IMHO). Just that it really pushes totally different buttons. I was reasonably well prepared for this having owned an E46 325i before, and driven a demo 335i quite extensively before I took delivery. So I guess I went in with my eyes open. I suspect, however, for some the change might not be so smooth....

One thing IS for sure though - the Aussie BMW community internet presence is truly woeful compared with RX8 club.com!

Yo G,
Fo Shizzle.

No the BM is staying stock. I got the optional 19inch factory mags and that sort of thing so no Bling this time. It stays stock on the exterior...the tune and the motor...now that's a different matter

Well guys it has happened. Took the deposit yesterday. The yellow beast looks like it is sold. I have to say it was a sad afternoon yesterday, I drove her to work this morning realising that by the end of this week I probably won't have her any more.

Reminising over the last 3 and a half years, and the awesome fun that has been had. It is almost like losing a family member.

I think the first time you get the 335i up on boost and hang the tail out will rapidly cure all feelings of sadness Gibbo.

Let me know when you're up for a cruise, so I can check out the new weapon.
