Friday Rant...so much for bedding in!!!

Well had my nice new drilled and slotted racingbrake rotors fitted 10 days ago and ebc reds so have been driving like miss freaking daisy on valium!!! Thought I'd be kind for at least one tank of juice!!

First impressions were very pleasing, was expecting a bit of vibration in the bed in phase but has been far smoother than expected, extremely!

So can someone please tell me what the **** Mercedes are doing putting Kompressor badges on small freaking shopping trollies! Can't be for power!!!

Here I am tootling along eastern valley way at a speed that not even Drew on a low revenue week is going to look my way and this tosser in a silver small Mercedes..Blah Blah...they all look the same....pulls out about 40 feet in front of me!!!

Time to forget bedding in......well bloody things stopped the beast unbelievably, small about of vibe I assume the effect of the slots wearing in but stopped much less dramatically than i expected!! (I like the EBC's they are much less grabby but don't seem to need any real warming up to work well!)

Thank god the guy in the amg 55 behind me was awake. (Now thats a Merc!!)

Anyhoo, will post some pics of the new additions tomorrow. Just needed a rant!!!

Couldn't justify the extra grand for the two piece or caliper kit, but very happy to be rid of the rust and adds a small amount of class.

Oh and seems to be perfectly suitable for braking as well

My experience with EBC was not quite justify when I have an old rotor to deal with.

I am glad you find that good.

Caliper, good pads and rotor are way better... I am privileged to drive Craig's car with Project Mu rotor and pad, Joel's PMU pad with stock rotor and Andrew's old set up (EBC and stock rotor) to compare. I think Joel's set up is best bang for bucks.
