Wow, I didn't even know the "Free Thread" had been deleted.

Micheal I would like you to know, I asked for an early release for you on your behalf. That didn't draw any support from the supreme judicary. Probably not as easy as the driving magistrate. So I probably are not as much a bad guy as you might think. There are certain standards they try to mantain.

Taka, there was not one specific post that he was suspended for. It was lots of things he had been carpeted before in the past (the warnings are logged) and the history wasn't good. So I guess you could say it was the last straw that broke the camels back, no matter how small.

I'll give y'all a little while to re-aquaint yourselves * and re-bond, and then I can close this thread.

The magistrate gave me a hard time , maybe he was not getting equal share of the money that i had to pay the cops and my solicitor to get me of on a fine and no conviction . :D

When you consider Hicks trained at four al-Qaeda training camps, met Osama bin Laden and was preparing untold other crimes you were harshly dealt with!

I know of drink drivers who got 9 months jail let alone a convicted terrorist!!!

If you believe the media, Hick's media ban was undertaken by the Australian Government, as a ban on "freedom of speech" is unconstitutional in the US.

Like many others I have read your posts and whilst there are some enlightening comments, they are fundamentally witty, humerous and have prompted intelligent discusssion.

So the question remains....was your "Ban" a result of representatives of the US or Australian forum????????????

I think you have missed my point.

The reason I raised this was because I wondered why Michael was still being labelled as 'banned' after such a long period of time.

I did some research and merely pointed out the nexus with the recent David Hicks fiasco and the length of time someone is penalised on this forum.

It saddens me to think I'm I can't discuss Michaels lengthy banned status, and flaming me for raising it won't help the issue if it happens again.

You go by "craw4" on RX8club.com.au, correct? Why not use it here so people can identify you easier?

If you had done your research, you would have established that, rightly or wrongly, Michael has been banned for good. He has tried to come back a number of times and most recently was told that "no means no". That's a matter for the Admins and Supermods. If you've got an issue with it, take it up with them direct.

His banning (on a number of occasions) has caused enough turmoil in here. We do not need it hashed over again publicly.

If that's a "flaming", well I'm so sorry. If you decide to rake up old coals, don't be surprised if some of them burn you.
