Formal Rides Please?

Hey guys..

Later in the year will be the formal for Macarthur Girls High School (North Parramatta, Sydney)..

I'm just seeing if ill be able to hire any RX8's for Formal Rides?

It'll be a chance to show off the RX8's and cruise and make a bit of dosh?

We will pay petrol money and stuff if you guys like?

We may need between 4-6 RX8's to take people and their partners.. (2 passengers per car)

We dont have a certified date or location yet, I'm just seeing if I'm able to get these rides

Thanks guys!

See you on the cruise on the 12th.. Tommo the photo dude!

Don't think I've ever had a formal ride.

Oh, hang on - is that what happens on your wedding night after the reception?

Count me out - I'm still waiting for the photos from when LJ (through his agent) and I kindly drove a bridal party all over the northern beaches.

Seriously, PM me if you get stuck. I might be persuaded.

I could be convinced, put us down and resurrect closer to the date. Drop off sounds fine, pick up sounds like it could be painful. (ie late on a Friday night where we sit around NOT drinking beer waiting to pick up someone elses kids!)
P.S. Financial considerations should be direct to the nats or up keep of .au, cause it's right and doesn't compromise insurance. I'd be helping out as a mate.

Ezz, totally agree, picking up at 7ish sound like fun, but picking up at midnight (or whatever) which is somewhat implied by Tommo sounds less so!!!

I though we might stroll of for a coupl of sherberts before heading home. Compare "fares" so to speak! LOL!!

never had to pick them up afterwards....
i'd probably be too pissed to do that myself
i'd call them a taxi instead.....

i'd say drop them off, go for a quick twisty run and stop for a coffee and gelato

You couldn't afford me - I always double my stratospheric rates for friends and relatives - for some reason they decide to go elsewhere.

So long as the interior isn't at risk from the retchings of some blind drunk teenager, I'm okay with the idea.

Drop off and twisty run followed by 'debrief' sounds good.

As I said, keep me posted.

Having done the formal run (for my sons and partners) I advise that the delivery trip is fine, with quite lovely scenery , but I would advise against using your 8 for the return Pick them up in something you can hose out...or better still, give them a cabcharge voucher

My sentiments exactly. Let them find their own way home.

Who knows, without all the over-protective chaffeuring home the odd pimply faced YD&FOC might get lucky...
