Good for the pilot! The wheather really looks horrible. They should never have given the start!
Organisers of a track day also made me sign such a disclaimer before going onto the circuit. I always questionned the validity of such a paper!

Not recommand to test it either! hehe :D

Should never race in such condition anyway. They simply cannot see the car in front.

I think TV Tokyo were very hard done by. They should never have been held accountable, really how much control over an event does the televisor get.

if you think that's shocking, you should see the bit where they get the Ferrari driver out of the car.... horrific...

Oh and Disclaimers aren't worth the paper they are written on by and large. Despite having signed your live away, the event organisers still have a duty of care, and if they are found to be neligent in any way, they can be liable to criminal prosecution and sued for damages.

Rightly or wrongly someone is going to get slammed over the EC Targa crash last week. RIP

I thought HE was the Ferrari driver!

The TV might have put some pressure on the race organisers to run the race despite the bad wheather conditions.
