well I did have a pewter 200SX and loved that colour... i was leaning towards the titanium but the lady of the house swung me around to the red, so we'll see how that goes.

I didn't go for the leather though - opted for the Intelligence Pack :o

Ausprop,

Welcome to our place! Nice choice, the sports pack in red.

Don't worry about Lock. I have back to back performance charts to show red/sports is quicker than yellow/leather. :D

Cheers,
Hymee.

auto? cmon! when i spend a full day on the road the manual drives me bonkers, but it would be a tragedy to put the auto in there

I havent driven an RX8 before - you had all better be right when you go on about how good these cars are!!

Oh we like the Xenon lights... It's the other stuff we don't like - just makes the car too heavy.. :D

FFS, not run in? It was only a month or two after you showed me and Wildcard the bit of road where you said you usually do $1.40 Or was that $1.70???

As for common... The sports pack is not as common as the luxo pack.

Just let him be happy with what car he chose. We all have our reasons. Personally, I didn't like the way the xenon headlight washers spoilt the lines of the front bumber.

Cheers,
Hymee.

welcome and enjoy your stay. and most importantly, enjoy your new car and dont let anyone put it down.

im sure there are always reasons for anything.

i have a black provo pack, it was the only brand new one in sydney when i had to do the trade-in, didnt really care because i will change the colour anyway, dont like leather, hated it on my last car, so i may trim it in suede (my last 2 full retrims are mostly suede), xenon..... not too fussed, last car had xenon, couldnt really see the difference, and the sound system.... there is always better aftermarket option..... thats what i told myself after i put the deposit down

I was in no way tryng to ruin the newbys/ freshmans buying experience but just welcoming him the lock & load way :D

Frankly i could care if people opt for leather or cheap frabrics :p and the reason the pov pack is not as common is because most RX8 buyers have better taste :p and they opt for the sports / luxury pack

As far as xenon lights you try driving in some hinterland areas with very poor lightining see how far you get , spoil the lines WTF your being......... A .........AGAIN

With my CZ unit up and running as smooth as $1.70 is but a walk in the park :D

Hang on! Did I miss something here?

You're about to take delivery of a car worth the best part of 60K and you haven't driven one yet?? Huh? Surely you test drove the thing??

And you still haven't answered my question as to which side of the scrum you pack into! :D :D

no I didnt worry about it. I didnt bnother test driving my 200 and that was fine, am sure the RX8 will be fiine too. reading reviews on the internet soon tells you if a car is any good or not. main concern (after if the car is any good) is what I pay for it and what I sell it for. not sure how the resale on this will go but it's looking better than the 350Z.... apart from which I struggled to find a decent review of that.

scrum - huh? what going on here? sounds dodgy

with all the 8's you are seeing - yes I think the shipments are finally starting to flow and trying to clear the back log.
