I'm surprised there isn't an importer in Australia doing just this (I presume there isn't??).
At these prices (just ordered coils from the US) I would have thought someone might bring some of this stuff in , mark it up, and still undercut MA by about 50%.
The lease on my 8 is about to run out and I'm paying it out and keeping the car (4yr/100,000km) but I must admit I'm feeling a bit uneasy about reliability (starter, coils, plugs, clutch, battery etc)
Having had enough of the dealers, is there anyone in Brisbane for servicing who knows what's what with RX8s?

Don't worry about reliability. Most of us have had ours since new and have had no problems for 3-4 years now. Besides, any/all the problems we've had have been fixed up in the later.
Besides ... you'd probably find more BMW's and Mercedes Benz' on fire in proportion to the number of RX8's you'd ever see.
