Mazda australia has comfirmed tha colours lightning yellow, nordic green and the blue coloured cars are only available in black cloth or black leather .All other colours come with black cloth or red/ black leather interior .As i have ordered a lightning yellow car with leather my interior comes with black leather only as does my steering wheels , in order for me to upgrade to a yellow / black leather interior i have to find an extra $2960.includes g.s.t.to upgrade my interior and yet i am paying the same price as those already getting the red /black leather interior .Not only am i out of pocket and have to find the $2960 extra ,but my interior will not appear as bright and spacious as the other cars. Ihave disscused this with mazda australia and they have been understanding without being able to compensate my loss at this stage .I feel short changed i hope that Mazda australia or my dealer work out a satisfactory solution to my and i am sure some of your similar problems.Contact either Maria RAMIREZ OR Fiona Dickson their in the customer relatIonS section and voice your concern on 1800.034.411 Or email them at mazda australia , otherwise you would be out of pocket by an extra $2960.00BIG ONES ON TOP OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE.

 

Would this be a factory installed item? (the yellow/black leather interior)

Maybe you'd be better off just ordering cloth, and doing a custom yellow/black leather job somewhere else.

 

there is no Mazda factory yellow leather. so this is already a custom job that the dealer has worked out with someone. you could probably find someone to do it cheaper if you wait for ahwile after the car is out. there might even be do it your self kits that you could mail order for after awhile.

 

Atlas the rx8 with the cloth interior does not come with the extras eg large 18 inch wheels ,xenon headlights ,fog lights Bose sound system, aluminium pedals power drivers seator the leather seats .

 

Well maybe keep the black leather and get a custom job for some yellow inserts? Personally i think the black leather would look pretty cool by itself but whatever floats ur boat i guess...
