I am thinking about making mine "foowly sik man". As if!

I like the idea of some fender stakes, an exhaust the produces more power, and a tweak of the fuel/ignition maps. Oh yeah - a start button

But that is about it. I'm not into rice. I feel they have this car sorted really well. The power is a bit down though. I reckon am into getting an extra 50HP. Then it would be a real weapon. That would be about 27 kW extra at the treads.

Cheers,
Hymee.

I like the car!

As far as extras go I've always found that if you've got enough money to afford to pay for all that bolt on stuff, a better way to get respect is to simply stand on your wallet and look down on the crowd.....

I want to convince myself that the whale sized mazda speed "wing" is a necessary gadget and jus t get one - but it would come with one of those "I'm a tosser" warnings I'm sure!

Oh, and the stock air dam

I like MS wing man!

ings body kit is my new fav and you can't say it is rice as the large whole can increase the flow to the radiator and thus a cooler engine. I think

I think all the MS stuff is still the best looking bodykits out there... I'd love one of those 300 blue MS RX-8s they put out in Japan... full body kit, modded ECU and exhaust... mmmm... drool

Good friend is already doing his RX-8.

Bought mid OCT for $63k ( leather pack) from West End in Blacktown.

Before the 1st 100km was on the clock, the process began.

Dealer fitted body kit. Chrome exhaust sleeves. Chromed rotor badges front & rear. Chromed scuff plates. back-lit gear ****. Red leather centre consoles, carbon look door handle surrounds. etc etc.

Plates............. RX8 SP.................

Coming, supercharger kit.........oh yeah!!!

How do the red leather centre console covers look in the flesh?

Something I'm interested in are the rear view mirror covers in red ... opinions?

I've still got exhaust finishers, air dam (painted and ready to go) and MP3 player sitting on the floor behind me ... most everything else is fitted.

I've stopped the car over a speed bump and decided to skip the full length side skirts (shame - I loved the look). Suppose it'll end up being the full factory body kit now.

I'm concentrating on audio, until engine mods are more common.

The red leather centre consoles break up the interior black really well. First thing you notice when peering into the interior

Actually, look at the front of the first and second pics, the bumper isn't properly colour matched to the hood... wonder if that's a legit MS kit?

I'd love to know what one costs Maestro, want the nose, side skirts, rear diffuser and possibly the rear wing... how many kiwi (or aussie) pesos for that?

BTW, best price I can figure so far for that kit from the US or Japan, including all shipping, etc is probably in the order of $10kAU... way too much for a few bits of plastic

INGs is an alternative. Unless you are really wanna spend... The INGs asking price (front spoiler is about $1000) plus shipping tax and paint. I think the other you can avoid tax by shipping differently
