And....... ?

Oh see it now... it is similar to the design from I think either Greddy or someone in Japan that mount their CAI right to the bottom right hand corner. Only different is you have 2 extensions.

Great

So the air has to travel that far now, I guess it has a more direct route to the filter?

Someone in the US open a hole in the front bumper and let air in - but that was really f'ugly.

GOOD MOD :thumbs up:

I was thinking of that (drill through the bumper) but, like you said, it is really ugly. I also change the K&N replacement and I do belive the throttle now is more responsive. I won't say is more powerful but at least the mod works (or could be just the filter...)

Yeah the duct extension is a good mod, logical too.

K&N mushroom, I don't know, but I am sure it has some power gain.

I saw the Autoexe RAM air filter made by GreppeM, costing over AUD$1000. I am sure it will be the same as getting a good filter element.

wont it be easier to "relocate" the longer pipe towards the bottom of the front bar, that way you can easily attach the "mouth" of the pipe onto the front bar..... if you know what i mean

Yup I know what you mean. The reason I didn't do was because I am worry forcing too much air to the intake at lower rpm may affect the performance. Instead, I just lead more cooler air towards its mounth let let it breath by it selfs.
