The cheapest RX-8 on the market....

$8.800 for a 2004...? If this is true then this is the cheapest (roadworthy) RX-8 anyone will see on the market.

It's only done 36000km though. Sounds more like Nicole wants to sell off an ex's/estranged's/stolen car.

Rang the number it exists but chap knows nothing about the car or Nicole , most likely a wrong price should read $ 28,800 and a wrong number .

Trevor your car is worth between $ 25-30,000 finding a buyer for it could prove harder as cars just arent selling at the moment

Cheers

Hmm...

Yeah, I'm desperately trying to buy a R-x8 for myself...looked at this one, and basically dismissed it as a mistake. It's a little bit TOO good to be true. I feel sorry for the guy who is trying to auction off his Rx8 on EBay though; it's at $18,000 and no bids. Don't worry guys, I work in the financial field and I can guarantee it will soon pick up, as no one is buying new cars, everyone wants used ones…so have no fear in the next 6 months prices will rise with demand...

Michael, it might be engineered to get back at old mate - who knows. As for me, I'm hanging onto her....pound for pound its as good as it gets. I'm sure the prices will also hold their own as times goes on.

Really how cheap is cheap?....it would be good to get yours as I know it would have been looked after....not from a little 18 year old who got it given as a gift from his parents or a 60yr old 'young-on-the-inside' lady who has no concept of oil change.

Thanks for the list btw...as it happens i look at it every morning at work (along with 3 other websites)...but if your willing to do a good deal we should talk!

Spotted a nice "Winning blue" one at a Ford dealership in Blacktown during the week.

They had $23,990 on the sticker across the windscreen.

Most Mazda dealers have them around the $30karea

Hmmm....the ad has been pulled. I guess we'll never know if it was a mistake, it was a shaft job or it actually got sold for that price.

Red book have the 2004 manual leather trade price for 24,100 - 27,100, so Mazda offering 22K to anyone (which has been going on) is nuts....

Update..........

The above car is no longer at the Ford dealership. Its obviously sold & at that price its little wonder the thing went so quickly.

there is one online that is based in Sydney on this website for 21 thousand. Dont really know much about it, the grainy photos are a little offputting!

Its also an auto.

Killer service. nice!lolz
Enforcer...where is your sence of humanity. maybe he is selling it becuase he feels like giving the next owner a head start on affording the turbo kit?

...or he went overseas and let his 18 year old rev it out of its hinges.

Yeah, but...

Hmmm...and if you look closely at the description he has given, he has said that it takes 'unleaded' fuel. Obviously not an avid car lover, as noone would put that battery acid in their 8 (save one person).

Tempted to have a look at it none the less....its cheep cheep like the budgie.

There are some people on this forum who use ... or at least used to use regular unleaded in the cars ...

... there's nothing wrong with it if you're cruising on long country trips.
