Bye Bye RX-8
Well folks, the time has come! After nearly five years and a great deal of enjoyment, I'm selling the RX-8 and getting an Alfa - specifically the Alfa 159 Selespeed TI.
It's been a blast owning an RX-8. I've enjoyed it more than any other car I've owned, for all sorts of reasons. It looks great, its fun to drive, etc.
But, this time round, I couldn't see the value in a new one. The changes in the new model are cosmetic at best and the Alfa is a really good deal.
For those who are interested, I got $26K for a trade in - with 78,000 Kilometres on the dial!
Thanks to all who have contributed to the forum - I've learned from you all and enjoyed your posts. Have fun with your RX-8s and I'll still look at them with great fondness.
Cheers,
Jim

Cheers Jim. Hope you enjoy the Alfa. I'd make a lame crack about Italian reliability but I don't think any of us are in a position to these days...
