Well I got the position in the US.
So I will be departing in the first week of november.

As a result I will need someone to take this over else I will have to cancel it as I wont have time to do it now.

If someone wants to let me know by say wednesday next week, else I will have to cancel it.

Sorry about the inconvience on organising this day.
So much has changed lately it has been quite crazy for me.

Awwwww man I wish I was in Aussie !!!!!!!

I would be in for sure Skid pans look like so much fun.

I don't think we have one in kiwi land.

Is it a normal skidpan or a one that jolts the cars sideways ????

congratulations on the job dragtoys.

So we have 3 definite and 3 maybes?
Yes List
Rotarenvy
Kimba2
SKC

Maybe?
Hymee
Jamoss
Hostile

with 3 it's expensive and it's unknown what we will get out of it?

I'd like to have a go at a autocross style event; learn a bit about getting the car to turn better/breaking etc and also some oposite lock stuff.

what dose everyone else want.

We need someone to take over the organisation. And we need the 3 maybe's to turn to definates, and then 4 more to make it cost effective as we first thought.\

Cheers,
Hymee.

so what cost is do people think is ok for a definate ok?

I'm in if there is at least 5 people ie $200

hymee when do you become a yes?

I'm willing to open the event to other rotary's so we can get 7 to ten no more as you get a poor student to teacher ratio.

I am still keen to attend. However I would like to see better numbers. I think somewhere between 7 to 10 would be ideal.

C'mon Brisbane lets get behind this event. I am sure we all purchased our sports car for the enjoyment. This event will help us learn how to handle this superb car a lot better.

say we aim for 8 people (rotary's or mazdas). would people be prepaired to prepay $125 to secure a spot?

I'm thinking of volunteering to continue organising the day. but the only way I see the day can progress is by a definate commitment by the interested parties. I can't afford to cough up any short fall if people decide at the last minute that they can't attend. so the day would require 8 people to prepay before the date when we can back out. if we get the 8 people before this date the day would proceed (refund any difference in price for more than 8 people) if there wasn't 8 payments I would cancel the day and refund any payments.

If the backout day is less than a week away then I sugest dragtoys cancels the day.

I am cancelling this day.
I think it might be too much of a commitment at the moment, and unfortunately I don't have enough time to follow through on it with my limited time left in australia.

No worries DT.

You have to do what you have to do. It is unfortunate, but I wouldn't say you got a good critical mass to feel confident. And no one really offered to take ownership.

I for one appreciate your efforts. I'm sorry I couldn't make the firm commitment you needed.

Cheers,
Hymee

Thanks for the effort drag toys. Best wishes with your new venture. What plans do you have for your RX8 and your drag car project.

Doh,

I spoke to ted and he can't cancel it so we will have to do the day.

So I need to know firm commitments to who is going to attend and I can get a couple of others to take up any extra spots we need.

I can organise it up to a point but wont be able to attend the day as I will be in thailand.

Can everyone interested please email me thier details ph numbers etc to
