I went vanilla. Kinda thought it'd look poor is everyone had the same wings...

The Japanese, being what they are, will have an enless variety of options for us soon.

I'll fence sit a bit.

i personally do not like the mazdaspeed rear wing i think it doen't go good with the lines of the car.

I like the rx-8 with no wing it looks better with out 1 and unless you really need 1 whats the point?

I'm getting this imported 4 my 8

RMagic front bumper and eyelids, RE-Amemiya side skits and rear diffuser.

They look like wider front guards - are they?

They're very nice side skirts too.

I think the kit gives you the illusion (which is good) that the car looks a lot more pumped up.... looks mean!!! Love the look!

cheers,

I start brushing THANKS ... My wife told me that all the time - she said especially chosing her.

There are 2 types... from the Jap site it has FRP (don't know what that is) is 174000 Yen per set and the other translate as Hi...Blick... Aero?! is 208000 Yen

Want it? I DO!

Don't know how to get them yet. In the Japan Option magazine comment that they want to see the real thing - I think they have not seen the RX-8 install one yet.

People (i.e. my best mate) said it is too RICE!? What do you think I will prefer MazdaSpeed - the difference is 125000 Yen Vs 98000 Yen - not much, is it?

I hate to let the rice side of my brain take over but I do like the INGS "side step" add-on has mad it onto my "**** I'd like that on my rx8" list..

For a while I though about the MX "big wing" just for the "**** that's fully sick / riced up" factor, but I think I'll just stick to small bits for now.

Well, that and a Super Charger as soon as possible ( that's a small step right?! ).

TAKAHASHI

Thanks for the information on body kits but could you possibly transalate from YEN TO DOLLARS , no speake a the japonese , by the way are all your patients fluent in japanese .

Here on the gold coast we have at least 5000 japanese residents living full time , the younger japanese men and women really enjoy the free lifestyle ,sun surf , sex , and sand.

I am changing my martial arts school from Korean HAPKIDO to Shorinji kempo JAPANESE STYLE martial arts.

Love japanese cars , food your women , not so keen on the blokes

There's ~ 78 yen to the dollar at the moment, so just divide the yen by 78 to get a rough guide. The add a bucketload to frieght them in. If you know an importer that could toss them safely in the back of a container though...

I like the way the side skirt is a complete over sill, but I'm not sure if I'd get away with the different front air dam. (You'll notice the front doesn't look very headlight washer friendly!)

try this... I am going around next weekend to search for one.
Anyone interested in the MazdaSpeed Replica from Rotaryextreme.com? They should be about 3/5 of the price if we get 10 people to buy from them - asking too much isn't it?

Instant xchange rates???

It's indefensible that anyone could fit sideskirts and eradicate that lovely sweep under the doors. It is one of the greatest aesthetic delights of the car.
IMHO

Jax8,

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I am holding her and yes she is a beauty!

I have the Mazda body kit less the front apron. Reason for no front apron is that on my HSV I had to watch every driveway and speed hump and I am just sick of the impracticality of the damn things.

I have bought the poverty pack model (I do not like leather!) with all the Mazda body extras on it as it was hard for me to accept the car with no body kit on it whilst downgrading from an R8 Clubsport (There is still something in me for those wild boar, pig grunting vehicles).

Downgrade!! From R8 to RX8... I wouldn't call that a downgrade... More like a "side grade"... similar tools for different jobs and all that

hate the Factory Mazda front skirt as well

I don't like the front skirt as it looks like an extension - lucky I have a black car to get away with it but someone like L&L will hate it as there is a disguish gap between front spoiler and the skirt :vomit:

I was planned to have MazdaSpeed kit until I saw the price - not justify for ~$6K.

for ~$3K I can do with MS front and side and rear factory deflectors like below.

But with ~3-4K I have the INGS kit - why not then

that bloody great big front end would make the Hymee Grill Kit somewhat redundant..

It also seems, as a body kit, to detract largely from the overall sleek body design that Mazda has put together..

I for one think I'll stay with the stock body for now - but stay tuned!
