Atm in Oz they're looking at beefing up the laws for child restraints to cover kids up to the age of 7. A 3 yr old was in a booster with a standard belt and her liver was crushed in an accident, killing her (just tragic). So the authorities are considering making kids remain in child seats with a harness until age 4 and then a booster with standard belt until age 7.

Jeez whats wrong with using the steering wheel as a seating device and the airbag as a restraint?
