Autoexe Adjustable Endlink

I have installed those endlink from Autoexe, they can be adjusted from 90mm to 104mm (104 is the stock height).

It is to level out the stabilizer bar when you have lowered your car. Explain with simple graphics below.

1. Normal height 2.When lowered 3.What does the shorter endlink do to a lowered car
http://www.autoexe.co.jp/products/ad...mse7605zu2.jpg http://www.autoexe.co.jp/products/ad...mse7605zu3.jpg http://www.autoexe.co.jp/products/ad...mse7605zu4.jpg

As you can see the forces going through the stabilizer bar (when the car is lowered) is not as effective as they are level out. I have noticed the car sway when I have adjusted the coilover lower and lower, so to get the right set up. After corner balancing, I really need this link to gain more from the stabilizer bar. The good thing about its adjustability is that I can measure and adjust so the bolt on the endlink are not in an angle anymore. Hopefully I have set the head in the middle so that the stabilizer bars will work at its best.

I have barely notice any difference just driving on the road, and it probably shows only when I drive harder.

So can I say that this end link will only benefits those with lowered cars? So if your car is not lowered, you won't feel any improvements?

Spot on. It is the fact that lowering the car makes the endlink not as suitable as before.

Taka, do you know if MazdaSpeed sells a similar part for use with the MS springs and shocks? I don't remember seeing one anywhere...

Whiteline do as well, have just ordered some to try and fix my rattle!

No they don't but these can be used for MazdaSpeed spring. If I remember correctly you drop 20mm in the front for MS springs, from the table provided with these links. You can adjust it to 92mm and you will be right.

Hey, I thought we were group buy buddies??

The rotors I can overlook but cheating on me with your own little endlinks! For shame...:nono:

;)

Thanks Taka. I'll look into getting a set.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but it is just rears, correct?

DrewMan 10-02-2007 08:13 AM

I had the Agency Power Endlinks put in when I had my Cusco Swaybars put in!

Very tight (and bumpy!)

Notice anything different Taka?

They are only for the fronts.

Awsome stuff. Guys we got our stuff from Autoexe's factory direct. Our is even better than Autoexe. Our center tube link is made of #6 Aluminum. Our kit also includes the rear. Pics!

I ended up gettting Whiteline end links front and rear. Not quite as sexy looking as the Autoexe numbers above but do the job...

takahashi 03-20-2008 05:04 PM

Hi to New York.

What are the ones in the bottom 2 ...? Please explain...

The head is totally from autoexe and they are well manufactured product.

Thanks. Yep, these came out of same factory as Autoexe's supplier. The bottom 2 are for the rear stabilizer end links. We sale them as a package. But if you just need the rears I can get them to you too.

Do you think these will improve the handling of my car if the suspension is only lowered by about 2cms?

takahashi 03-22-2008 04:51 AM

It will increase the efficiency of your stabilizers... whether you can feel it I :dunno:

Revolver 03-22-2008 06:40 PM

I'm also of the view that having everything 'straight' down there is less likely to lead to component fatigue in the long term and thus help stave of the inevitable rattles, etc as suspension ages.

kiet1 03-22-2008 11:07 PM

i have them on my car.
bought them just before the end of last year.
helps get a more balaced corner weight.

auzoom 03-23-2008 04:48 AM

sheesh kiet! a voice from the dead!!!

matt13b 03-23-2008 04:55 AM

Do you have theses endlinks andrew? I just know that we both have same shocks and I think similar ride height..

auzoom 03-23-2008 05:04 AM

No mate. I have been meaning to for a while but between the turbo being fitted and work I havent gotten around to it.

I am trying to find the evo-r links on their website but between my optus cable being slower than dial up and their website design I cant seem to find any details.

Cheers

Andrew
