Smile No: but almost

Choppy:

Was out this afternoon in my '8, visiting friends, when the hail started (could hear it coming across the tin roofs). My car was parked outside, exposed to the weather (almost 95% ++ of the time it is parked under cover).

Got it under cover quick smart.

Two rounds of heavy hail, up to approx 2.0cm diameter stones.

Arrived home after the storm passed, to find the front and back lawn white with hail - same size.

Can't image that a pounding with this sort of hail would not cause some damage to the skin of the wonderful car.

Thank goodness I managed to get the car out of harms way!

Regards, Michael,
still very happy Rx8 owner, hehehehe

Image is an example of the layer of hail on a lawn in our area.

argh... aweful luck these days.
It started hailing @ King George's Rd, while driving towards Bexley..
luckily, no sign of any damage, although it scared me a lot.
I came back home earlier than usual to park inside garage. I heard it hailed the size of golf ***** where I had been parking outside for hours..
