245/35 front and 275/30 rear would be the closest to the stock overall diameter

there only 18" ezzy

on the front you can run up to 18x9 39+ with a 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 (this is max IMO as they would sick out). with a 18x8 you are limited to 245 max as larger is an illegal fitment.

in the rear 18x9 39+ should be no problem up to 265-275/40/18 (if it's legal). rase the offset to 45+ and 18x9.5" would be ok. you can run lower offsets in the rear if you want to do guard mods.

as long as you don't go stupid on sizing ie 18x8 front 18x10 rear I don't think you will have handling problems. at 18x8 (235) 18x9 (245-255) I doubt you will notice it and if you do an alignment will fix it. post the full width and offsets in your wheels of choice for a better recomendation.

Stagger's set up... even the Japanese are calling for the many of the wrong for this kind of set up....

Unless there is a retune suspension set up - it is hardly benefitual.... it does if it is fully tune and your RWD is 300wkW plus.

Yes it does.

But you have a damper adjustable Koni - so you can dail it to suit you.

The fact that the wheel width wider in the same size tyre will lay the thread out better; and the offset difference will gives a wider wheel base front and rear. It is all very subtle but it will change the character of the drive

I found the car understeer, and at least my track driving tell me so. I don't rear oversteer... so I support someone's point to have wider width and lower positive offset in the rear.

My support is to have same wider width and lower + offset equally in 4 wheels. Keep it under 245 too.

Having said that - I love to experiment if someone funds that

rims

the reason i asked,

it that i just sold my 19" rims and want to go back to 18".

i have look at a couple of Rays rims but all the rims that are available are in stagger's setup, ( i don't want to wait 2 months to order from Japan )

e.g Rays Gramlight 57s pro in front 18x8 +30offset and rear 18x9+38 offset

with this rim , i can reused the OEM tyres for the front and put Bridgestone so3 245/40 for the rear but later on .

i will have problem finding Bridgestone tyres for the front since Bridgestone tyres is not available for the OEM size in aus.

Can I ask why you want to go back to 18's?

i had the 19" on the car for a year.

i found the car not responsive in the 19" wheels as compare to the 18"
but turning corner was better.

plus the ride was rougher then the 18".

Still haven't found a better option than the Enkei's for the money. Said elsewhere I'd love to get the SSR Comp's but I couldn't be bothered importing them.

Just waiting for one of you lightweights to get serious and buy some track wheels. I know where there's some for sale (to the right buyer ).

Once I sell the OEM rims I'll get the Enkei's immediately.
