Folks,

Finally got the car on Friday afternoon.
Oh what a joy this car is!

Some of the accessories are on back order including the strakes.

I drove it most of Friday and today in and around the south-east suburbs and the city. 160kms already.
Even had to do the Chapel St cruise last night.....I know I know.....a bit dorky but it was a bit of fun.

It drives as well as all the reports. Thanks to all those who posted reports over the last few months. It has helped me no end researching the car. I have no real issues - and don't expect any.

Again thanks for the reports on this forum re - features, equipment and other characteristics of the car that have made it so much easier for me to familiarise myself with the RX. Those noises and smells that make this car so unique.

Going bush tomorrow for a bit of a cruise out Gippsland way.

I'll post a few early pics following this note.

Couldn't help posting a pic - apologies re the garage. Taken just a few minutes ago. I will take some decent ones during the next few days. BTW it has a rear spoiler.

I think I saw ya on Friday driving alone Grattan Street near Melb. Uni? So I guess you just picked up your car from City Mazda???

I was around Melb Uni on Saturday. Must have been another. This is the first one Penfolds have delivered in Blue.

I followed a silver 350Z on Friday for a while. A girl was driving. The two cars together get a heap of looks.

Stoli congrats on your ride , i also still have fond memories driving down chapel st ,toorak rd etc but now i drive the sunny roads of the goldcoast in my lightining yellow rx8.
