Has anyone dyno'd their 8 after installing a catback exhaust or airfilter ????

Yes (exhaust - rear muffler assy to be precise).

Yeah we have done a PRoMAZ kit on a RX-8 here in NZ. Just wondering how your system and others are ???

Also has anyone upgraded their airfilter ???

I almost always do mazdaSpeed stuff. But AM is heaps cheaper, well marginally cheaper !

 

I have the Fujitsubo catback ... if you believe them you have 3.1kW gain at the wheel. If you believe my butt dyno, it is bugger all, maybe a touch of more torque at mid range. Never dynoed it. Although I think the car pick up quicker down the main straight of sandown after the exhaust is installed. At least it is not backward. It is much quieter than Hymee's and look bettter

Here here Taka, I've done exhaust and air filter and its all MARGINAL!!!!!!!! Mind you, do enough marginals and they all ad up.....................I think?!

 

Agree... Well tuned ECU with manifold and exhaust can certainly something... like RE Amimeya - 20ps gain, but it is $5000-$6000 later though
