mmm.... another 8 vs. Zed thread again.. ;-p

i think 98% of the current RX8 buyers have thought about getting the Zed when purchasing.... same here... i picked the 8 because
- unique design (both engineering and appearance wise)
- newest jap "luxo" performance car on the market
- doesnt look like the car i have just traded in
- 8 looks better/more sleek than the Zed
- useable backseats and "boot"
- "zoom zoom" sounded better than "shift the future"....

/the full comp insurance quotes was almost similar for both cars
/also look at the CV8, but "realised" it is just a commowhore with 2 less doors...
/i'd be a more difficult decision if the EVO8 was on the market....

Think they were talking about old fogey's - don't they use that expression in Bananaland?

Well you can buy an EvoIX for $60K can't you?

Mind you, the new X looks like it will be a tastier package, in more ways than one . We're looking at 2008 though I think.

They say you get forgetful in old age...

Alternatively, you have given the lie to that old adage 'it takes one to know one'.

EVOVIII wasnt available back in Nov/Dec 2003, let along an EVOIV

ICIC - you're were talking about what you could get when you ordered the 8 - fair enough.

Wonder how many EvoIX's Mitsubishi are selling now that you can buy local. I remember heaps of people bitching about not being able to buy an Evo locally - wonder if they've put their money where their mouth is?
