Guys, Im just wondering that are there any new feature for 2006 model??

When it is ready in Australia??

While I was doing the deal on my new MX5 I looked at jumping into a new 8 instead and yeah besides a few colour changes that was about it.

I asked why no real changes and was told "If it ain't broke don't fix it". In other words they are happy with the numbers being sold with very little advertising.

The funny thing is though if you have noticed they are now really advertising the 8. I see more adverts on TV for it at the moment than the other cars in the Mazda range. They are also advertising it as a runout special. I wonder if sales have stalled a little!

 

Just running out 2005 builds, I reckon. Offering an extra 12mths warranty, too. I wonder is that factory warranty or some other POS

 

No.... still in the industry but in a different capacity for another manufacturer.

 

I only see it advertised as part of the range of Mazdas in the 'Mazda will do it for you' promotion. Haven't seen a stand alone RX8 TV ad for a while now (but then again, maybe my viewing habits don't fit the demographic being targeted!).

 

I saw th RX8 hugging one a lot in the last 3 weeks!

They were during a lot of the shows Danielle like to watch!

There is one clip on my site that is the Australian version (Steve). I can convert that to 3gp file - just tell me what parameter you want on it.

What happend to all the other changes i read about the 06? Like 6 speed auto? etc...

 

Auto? WTF? ...... oh yeah, that too, but why even bother?

No worries..... there just aren't that many significant changes to even really bother listing.

 

So the 06 model is with 6 gear on it and not 4 gear???

You want to get an assessment of every nut or bolt that may have been changed - go ask Mazda or find out some other way.

 

why kept on double guess each other?
pick up the phone and call up your nearest "half decent" dealership and demand the info.... you came on here and calling ppl BS... since you have only contributed 6 posts so far....

Well that's easy - tell the salesman you do not intend to buy either year model until you get an itemised list of the changes to the 2006 car.

If he won't get you one - go to a dealer who will.

I called my dealer and ask are there any new changes for 06 model or not like such as 6 gear for 06

they told me they haven't get the list yet.. so, are there anyone who know the excatly change and mind to post them here???
