My car is still sick. I need to get the dudes at the service centre to change my fuel pump. No more 2 stoke for me.

Found out that my cold tyre pressure this morning was 31 psi and that was to keep the psi level to 40 on the track yesterday. OEM rubber doesn't like the heat much. I noticed that the DSC was cutting out each time I turned and loaded the car. Had to take the brave pill and press that DSC button "off". The car definitely likes to boogie its tail, but it seems to break traction gradually instead of snapping out. I had fun mucking around with the DSC turned off... just need a bigger "brave pill" to swallow and more driving talent.

Anyways, great to see lots of familiar faces and I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves as I kept hearing lots of laughter.

Thanks to Stu and Danielle for making sure everyone behaved themselves. I miss little Tubby go at it around the track. I was prepared to sneak one of those transponders into little Tubby. Oh well, I'm sure we'll see the new beast in the future and I'll get others to help me distract Stu so that I could place a little transponder somewhere in the new beast. Look for Ex-Tubby on the timing monitor next time.

Kall, I hope you had a nice time yesterday. Hey... you parked your car next to mine. . Nice perfume BTW!.

Thanks to all the guys for behaving themselves and saving me from having to pull out my big stick. (Now behave Kalli)

Feeling a little sore today as standing down in the pits in that heat all day has left me more than just a little burnt. I think Danielle did not sleep last night as I was glowing in the dark!

Looking forward to getting out on the track next time!

Thanks gou was a great day. No major incidents/complications, just a few spins here and there to keep people in the pit-lane entertained. The only think that I could complain about was the heat ... would have easly appreciated 10deg less than what we had up there.

DavidM I got my best time because of you.

Silas got his best time while doing the same thing ... maybe I should start charging by the hour (or would that be second) ;-) Though, not sure how much credit I can take as you were the one behind the wheels ... all I provides was a bit of guidance/motivation.

ps. That time puts you ahead of any N/A S2000 that I know of. That was 1:42.56 with everything stock, but R-spec tyres. He was/is the only one who managed to dip into 1:42s.

David thanks for helpin me out and giving me some good tips out there/

You're very welcome. If I thought of it earlier, I should have gone out with you again towards the end of the day and see how much you've improved. Also remember the most important tip - the brake pedal is in the middle, and it's to be used before the corner ;-)

Good to see girls out getting out there.

Motivation. My god of course it is. We are like hungry greyhounds, one black one red, chasing the grey rabbit in front. But never catch it

I think we should frame this and put it out every committee meeting we have.

Hey guys,
Thanks to everyone who organised this event, Andrew, Taka, Kall, anyone else who was involved in putting this together.
Was a well run day, pity abou the heat, my tyres were shot by the end of the day.

Great bunch of people who turned up, drove sensibly and made the time on the track more safe and enjoyable.

Will post pics and videos that I have up soon!

No we decided to hide a transponder in your car and it will be done next time.

We use the Manfrotto magic arm kit

Just the clamp and the arm. Clamp to a rear strut bar or the emergency tyre bar.

I was concerned at lunch that my car was feeling underpowered. Taka took it for a few hot laps and its was fine, however the car had been of for 45 min.

By the end of the day I had used nearly 1.5litres of coolant and had the coolant light on after 4 or 5 laps of each session.

I have spoken to a local dealer who is suspecting the water pump has broken 1 of the 2 seals, and one other person has suggested a broken water seal in the engine

Car is in getting some more work done to the bodykit and then its in for check up on Monday.

Also, as Stuart will attest, I used the last of my front brake pads during the day so that could account for a little.
