Hey Guys
So here goes...
When:
Saturday 14th October
Time:
4.30pm meet @ TBA Location - will be SouthEastern suburbs however.
Plan:
Meet 4.30pm, for now I'll state that its somewhere in South Eastern Suburbs, I will have a nosey around to see where we can meet up. Id just like to have idea of how many people are interested so I know how much space we need for the cars. Meet 4.30pm sharp.. Id like to at least get going by 4.45pm. If its too early of a meet for you then I can always give you address of where we going for dinner and meet us there later.
So we'll have a little drive around Dandenong mountains - and have dinner social/catchup up in the mountains. So roughly we should be there by 6pm.
More details will come up next week. I just like to see how many people are interested in order to know where to meet up and which way would be easiest to convoy to the mountains.
If you need specific information about where we are going in order to be able to plan ahead, please PM me. I'll be able to supply maps and information by early next week for those of you who want to meet us there later.
Confirmation requirement please
Id like confirmation by 9th of October (Monday) because I will book table at the restaurant in advance. I'm not particularely fussed however just so we have rough estimate. Feel free to bring your families. Restaurant is fairly casual.
Rules...
Again I know this is not necessary.. but I'd like to stress this is an RX8 only event, we only want mature and sane people attending I know this is not a problem for us but hey.. better safe then sorry. Therefore just like the photoshoot, I will NOT be posting specific information on the public forum.
Therefore....
So please post if you are interested PM me for any questions.
Ta, Kall
Attendees:
1. Takahashi/Stephen x 1 (confirmed)
2. Eric/Ezzy x 1 (confirmed)
3. Andrew/Auzoom x 4 (confirmed)
4. Craig/RXVIII x 2 (confirmed)
5. Will/yellowrx8inoz x 1 (confirmed)
6. ILIV48/Stu x 1 (confirmed)

9. MissyK/Kall x 2 (confirmed)
10. Astro/Joel x 1 (confirmed)
11. Zen/Minh x 2 (confirmed)

I thought it is very common. All my friends have tight *** cards
It is preconditioned. We can only use one per couple and it is limited to one main course item only and they are usually the expensive ones.
For Olinda
I have 25% off up to $30
for
Credo, Ranges at Olinda,
OR
One complimentary MAIN COURSE when another MAIN COURSE of equal or greater value is purchased Up To $25 Value
for
The Mt Dandenong Hotel and
Wild Oak Restaurant Café Bar

Yes Taka I am, however just like on the racetrack I will probably end up half a lap behind you
At this rate of mad bike riders and RX8 owners surely someone has to make a purpose built bike carrier for them.
Then we could have a vic RX8 cruise to the start of the Around the bay
p.s. To anyone who isn't going on the bike ride and wishes to, I have a tandem bike and you are more than welcome to come along and help me with the pedalling

I can fit my road bike frame in the RX8. Wheels have to stay in the boot. Without the freestyle doors... I don't think I can fit the frame in the back seats with ease. Ohhh... if you are wondering if I scratch my interior... NO CHANCE. Hint... I have a "magic arm" and I just use the clamp to "clamp" on my bike frame. Easy done!
I might park my car near Geelong... and drive back to Melbourne and hopefully, if I am still alive after the first 100kms... I'll finish in front of Taka .

I put my bike in the car, too - but with the rear wheel on - the front wheel goes in the boot. I just spread a blanket across the seats and wrap it around the bike once it's in. Works a treat!

Yay Go Danielle!!!
WELL I found us a meet-up point, thats quite large and where we can mind our own business from the rest of peeps. We're lookin at around 40min drive (give or take, really does depend on the traffic!)
Taka.. you decide which "tightass" restaurant u want, and lemme know lol So we can look it up and see how far up the mountain it is... If its Olinda then it would be nearabouts skyhigh (actually a lot closer). Also so we can pre-book........Still plenty of time ahead of us however.
So PM me address and if u have any other info about it Taka.
