I was still negotiating those bends. I got there just after you guys started driving off. I didn't even get to see that nice little place that you folks visited. I need a heavier foot to keep up with you lot!.

Whoever didnt come on my scenic route you missed the best off road drifting eva!! It was just natural instinct for my finger to hold down the DSC button for 5 seconds..opps

As the pictures show we did get a bit messy but isnt that what kids do?? Having a dozen stone chips was worth the fun of slippin everywhere on the loose gravel ontop of mud.

Oh and Kall the redneck incident was a little amusing, they were very angry with yours truely. TOO BAD!! i was having fun and no one was gonna stop that, even if they did have a shot gun.

PS. you would have been fine on the gravel, apart from maybe one or two chips cos it was completely flat. It was like driving on ice..yipee

Rednecks are easy to deal with! Just kick them where it hurts most... In their dogs ***. It totally screws their sex life

Hey Guys

Andrew, Kal and others, thanks for organising a great day. As Vic said earlier, great fun and a great bunch of people. We MUST do that again.

My memorable moments in no particular order:

1. Plenty of "spirited" driving.
2. Watching James overtake the rednecks across double lines around a left hand bend and thinking "WTF is he doing?"
3. Plenty of overtaking action.
4. Watching Tubby in my rear view mirror and thinking "**** that thing handles well!"
5. Getting jealous when the sun came out and Tubby's roof came off. (At least I had my sunroof)
6. Chasing Rick along the GOR between Apollo Bay and Lorne.
7. Seeing 2 red 8s take evasive action when the truck blew its tyre.
8. Chatting with the gang at the restaurant.

Cheers

Greg

I had 2 people on push bikes ( riding on the other side) scream something I could not understand. I answered them back with my foot to the floor and upshifting to third with a pop pop to let them know I am not a greenie!.

That was one hell of a drive!.

Just got back "on" tonight.

Yes, a great drive and special thanks to James for making it even more memorable. Tubby and I had great fun keeping up until the Twelve Apostles loomed... at which point I discovered that the ocean was on the wrong side of the road and Lorne was 100km+ in the other direction!

And YELRX has the stone chips to prove it...

Pics coming later.

The drive back from the 12 Apostles to Lawn was a lot of fun in many places. We were a little bit behind everyone so felt the need to make up some time Good times were had!

Nice pics but you have dropped the quality. Can you stick them up full quality on photobucket or the likes?
