I could arrange the names and pull them out (trust me!) and i'll let everyone know who their KK is. We can have maximum $. and exchange presents for christmas

We'll be into KK, sounds like a fantastic group! WD was shocked when I said how many people could be coming! Looking forward to meeting you all. Should you wish to stay overnight we are racing at Phillip Island on the sunday. We will be thrashing a new piston engine...being built as we speak! In a few years time I may take the 8 when it's out of warranty!!

Counting down the days to our PI mini break we seriously need another short bit of time out!

Look forward to meeting you all and seeing your lovely cars in da flesh!

It's a circuit sprint run by the Alfa Romeo Club of Vic. All clubs are invited but the last year the lions share of entries were Alfas.

Should be a good day as long as it's not too hot!

Hmm, I wonder .

If I took the Friday off to drive down, I could do the cruise with the Vics on Saturday and drive home Sunday.

Are non-Vics invited???

Once thats sorted I can look into finding accomodation for you thats nearby there or at least near someones place who can help you get to meet up point in 1 piece.
Hey, thanks Kall.

I'll try to ease 'er indoors into the idea over the next week or so - she mightn't be too impressed with two 3 day weekends away from her and the mini-terrorists in two months .

If I can swing it, I'll probably doss with a mate who lives in Melbourne but all directions to meet up points, etc will be gratefully accepted.

Can't remember atm. I'll find out if I can come and let you know.

I'm taking a few weeks off over Christmas/New Year, so she's happy about that.

Otherwise, I got some good advice as a youngster - never lie to a woman . It's stood me in good stead ever since. The truth can be painful at times (and occasionally it pays to just keep your mouth shut) but it's always a million times better than getting caught out fibbing .

No, I'll just need to finesse my way into this one .

Mate you are more than welcome to stay at my place if you can make it down. We have plenty of room and would be more than happy to provide shelter for you and the wife.

We also live close to where the Hume meets the Western Ring road so very easy to get to once in Melbourne!

It just so happens that the Sydney 'branch' of Tiffany's is located about 50 metres from my building, but NO! I'm hoping to use some of the equity/credit gained from the house and car without having to get into bling too.

I'll test the waters later this week and see if the sharks are biting...

Good news Mexicans.

Dipped my toe in the water today...okay, I kinda dived in...and found only dolphins.

Request for leave pass is receiving favourable consideration. Not fully franked and stamped yet but the marital bureaucracy is in motion and no bribes have been solicited...yet.
