Dan,
What is the lightest 17" wheel you sell for the rx8? Actually how about the lightest in 7", 8" & 8.5"? And how much would that particular wheel weigh and cost?

In the market to get some wheels for the racecar. Someone posted some 18"ssr wheels which are awesome BUT i want to stick with 17". When jumping to the 18" tire cost is $40per tire more, tire weight goes way up, and I think it gives it worse gearing at the tracks we are running.

Hands down the Enkei RPF1 is the lightest wheel and best bang for the buck. The SSR are a bit stronger and about the same weight, but obviously the cost goes up a pretty good bit too.

Are you trying to run the same size all the way around or staggered?

Probably the same size all the way around to make it easier to mount and dismount. For offsets I most likely want the largest available so the tire contact patch(not necessary the tire itself) is still inside the fender. I will most likely being running 245/?/17" hoosiers R6 tires. I don't have the car here yet so I am not sure what the measurements are. If you know that's great if not I will take some measurements in the next few weeks and post back.
