totaled in an accident earlier this year. it was a 2007 crystal white. bought a vw passat but it just didn't cut it. i missed my rx-8 quite a bit and found this 2005 in excellent condition with fairly low mileage so i jumped at the chance and am definitely glad that i did.
Hey all, Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I am a proud owner of a 2009 crystal white rx8 touring. This is my first non piston auto and I am simply amazed by it. Well anyways I am currently stationed out in Fort Gordon, Ga atm till the end of November then will be heading to my new home of Fort Bliss, Tx.
Only mod done atm is the 20% tint all around, 50% front windshield, clear vinyl on the tail lights for that dark effect.
Anyways been reading up on a lot of information on the rotary engines and trying to learn as much as I can.

Fantastic pics. Love that you have the appearance pkg w/o the spoiler. Mine looks just like yours in black - hope you keep it spoilerless. Not too many of us in the same config on here.

Did you install them yourself?

Regarding the install; yes and no. No in that when I originally got the car, I bought them and had the dealership put them on (it was a trivial price, if I recall). I say "yes", because I have had my passenger side one come off as of late during an autocross event where a cone knocked it off, leaving it hanging by a screw. I then found out that whoever installed it never peeled back the plastic on the adhesive to make it stick to the body. I popped some new fasteners and screws back in, and it holds even better than before now.
