The Carrera GT hood looks a lot like the Stage21 hood for the RX-8..

 

yes but Im gonna be getting rid of the rotary accent/indent, much like the R8 GT3 hood with a large venturi coming off the back of the Rad,,,

 

havent made too much progress in the last couple days been sick,,,

You should take a pic of them next to a stock mirror for comparison.

One unexpected pro is that while driving at night it is an excellent headlight dimmer/blocker that extra inch is ideally positioned for this..
Its not perfect buts its a really unique piece for the car,,,

wow the mirrors look a lot better. Are you going to have to custom cut mirror glass for them or will the OEM mirror glass fit?

I will have to scribe the glass on my set, I have the tools at work, just not sure how thats gonna work when I go to make them for all you guys,,,

I have no idea,,, Wasnt working of a release schedule, but with the interest that its generated I will try my best to get these out,,, the easy part is done, the hard part is that last 10% of bringing all the components together,,,

rotr if/when you sell any of these im gonna go broke, the mirrors looks sharp and very agressive, that hood is exactly what ive been looking for for the past year or so, and well the last one isnt you but i think your pic just sold me on those racing beat clear corners.

 

Got any pics of the lip spoiler form a little farther away?

the mirrors are nice and the hood has a nice flow with the rest of the body
