Lightbulb Colour centre caps

Im sure i've seen a picture of a rx8 with coloured centre caps in the wheels, looked really good. Suprising how bigger the difference the little things make.
Anyone know if you can buy these? or any ideas how to modify my existing ones. I think paint might be too temporary?

Here is a quick photoshop of my car just to give an idea what it would look like...

uhh i dont think there's anything else you can do, just paint them, not sure how you'd mask the mazda logo though on the cap unless you want the entire thing to be blue. usually those kinds of things come with aftermarket wheels

i personally painted mine with the touch-up paint i got in the mail to match my powdercoated black wheels. it wasnt too hard, the "m" logo can pop out of the rest of the cap (i use a little screwdriver from a glasses kit). after they dried i just poped the tabs back in and good as new.

you can pop them out from the inside and have them powder coated.

while your at it, please drive your car into a tree.

meh, i was too harsh with my last comment. Please do not drive your car into a tree. I'm sure there's plenty of stuff on my car other people don't like.
Painted center caps aren't for me... but its not my car, so do as you like

and there you have it, you can pop the m logo out and powder coat or paint the actual center cap then just stick the mazda logo back on the center cap.

N rider, can you email me pics of your wheels?? ive never seen the stock rims powdercoated black, that sounds really badass

Good choice on rim color As for the caps you can use model paint then spray it with clear coat.
