Honestly, for me probably not much. For people that like to get a bit more granular with their adjustments here are the features of the Ultimate :

I don't think the parameters go to 32 x 32 like the HKS F Con Pro (still 16 x 16 like in the regular Emanage). Makes upgrade to optional harnesses a bit easier. Little bit better in adjusting timing. For fellas like MM or RG it might be a bit better.

Jon,

Saw where you were defending SFR on the other thread. Notice that PTP hasn't gotten much flak for the delay in your kit. I think it is because you have been cool on the board (& honest). I do think SFR got a bit defensive & it blew up on both sides.

Can you tell us what you think are the advantages of the EManage Ultimate vs. regular EManage for our cars (if they decide to go with a turbo kit). From the list I have seen it is more fine calibrations, but nothing eye popping.

The new emanage allows you to eliminate the MAF sensor. It also allows you to control the injectors trim instead of just being able to add fuel pulse. This is the most important feature I believe mainly because before to take away fuel you had to modify the Airflow Map which in turn modifies timing. This is not something you want to happen everytime you try to pull fuel away. The new ecu now taps into the crank trigger which enables the user to see ACTUAL ignition timing and datalog it. This is also very helpful in the tuning process. They also added cool features like TPS accel maps for timing and fuel. Coolant temp and Air temp fuel enrichment maps. Target Air/Fuel map for those willing to purchase a Wideband o2 Sensor and it will datalog Air/Fuel ratio to assist in tuning. And a few other options but I have a few orders to ship I gotta go... If you want more info just call me.

Maurice and I just got it working on his car. Note that J9 is backwards in the manual - that is leave it open for the Mazda.

I built it into the CZ style box - no wire cutting needed. Next step will be the injectors. I connected everything except them.

It is much "better" than the original. For example, you can now drive the coils directly from the unit - no diodes required. It also outputs to all four coils, not just leading. It has built in support for the RX-8 now.

I put "better" in quotes because there are enough adjustments to confuse anyone. If you're not into programming you may not want to apply!

Will you and Maurice offer this setup as an upgrade to existing CZ Blue owners?

That's up to Maurice. I suspect it will be available, once we have it fully sorted out. I did keep careful records of wire lengths etc. just in case I had to make more.

Sorry for my lack of understanding, but please clarify something for me: Does the Ultimate control fuel independent of the stock ECU, or does it add/subtract fuel from the ECU signal? If it adds/subtracts fuel, won't it still have problems with LTFT, or does it have a way to compensate for that?
