CAI in the summer?
first of all... im not a car guy. all i know is how to change a tire, oil, all that other maintenance stuff.. but i have a question about the CAI.. if i get a AEM CAI, would i have to take it off for the summer? cause i was talking to this kid from class and he said that if i have a CAI, it's only good for the winter cold, but for the summer i would have to take it off cause the heat will "F" something up... does this kid know **** about cars or is he correct? cause im pulling the
pure crap was given to you sir, the aem cai pulls in cool air even during the summer the air outside the engine bay is cooler than whats inside thus you still get a small benefit and no side effects except for the noise
Get another kid, because he knows not of which he speaks!

Keep in mind that most US WWII Fighter aircraft engines had water injection systems for "war emergency power" and some of those were radial engines not too different in operation from our rotaries. Steam is a powerful force!!
A little water in the intake is not a terrible thing (a lot is tho'.)
