First, I'm sorry for my bad english cause I'm from France and I'm not the best in foreign language.

I have a 2004 rx8 performance pack manual gear whitch works perfctly until a noise begins.

I have a whistling noise comming from the rear axle (I think) when I drive, when I remove my feet from the accelarator; so I replace the bearing off the rear axle and a few ones in the gear box, but the noise is still here, then I replace the -hard to explain- pinion and the ring in the rear axle and the noise is left
But, one week later, after about 500 kms (311 miles) the noise come back and I really don't know what to do, it really start to make me crazy, allready 2000€ of parts and the noise still here!
If someone has the same case or an idea please let me know
