It reminds me of people trying to contact me for whatever reason. They know my website/email, my forum handle, and my phone number. So they send me a pm saying whatever they wanted to say. And they send me an email, telling me they sent me a pm, and repeating their question, just in case I check the emails before I check the PM. And they call and leave me a voicemail, to tell me they sent me a PM and an email, and to ask me the question, just in case I check voicemails before email or pm. Then they send me a pm telling me that they called me, just in case I check pm before voice or email.

Just to be a wiseass, I often reply to each of their contact methods even though I know it was all the same person, just to further illustrate my point that it is unnecessary.
