Those Enkei's look great, what offset are you running on them?

I believe they are +44, I got them from an Evo owner and he had to run huge 20mm bolton spacers in the front to clear brakes but they fit on the RX-8 perfect with a 255/40/17. I did confirm that the 275/40/17's also fit just fine.

I've autocrossed the car for about a season, mostly on street tires and recently went to the RA-1's. It is in BSP in current form but could easily be a STU car or Bstock if you changed the springs back to stock (which I have) and got 18X8 wheels instead.

The Enkei's are track only wheels, I drive on stock wheels/tires on the street.

I should also state that it comes with factory wheels and RE040's in addition to the Enkei's and RA1's.

All TSB's addressed, passed engine recall with flying colors with updated newest flash.

This is a very nice car, I've seen it in person. Cosmos is a stand up guy, and I wouldn't have a problem purchasing a car from him.

Actually, I was talking to him about buying this very car a while back (before he got the Miata), but he wasn't interested at the time.

Price is too high... Cut 1000-2000 off the asking price, and you'll get some looks.

From what I've seen most of the 17K cars are 04's with 30K+ miles. I think this is a reasonable starting price for a low mileage mint condition 05 with a few nice extras. The car has all maintenance done including oil change, diff fluid, tranny fluid, alignment and was just clay bar'd and waxed.

I can do $17,750 bone stock which is a steal or include the Konis/Mazdaspeed springs and Ipod connection for 18 and then sell the wheels separately. If no one is interested I have no problem keeping it as well.

I'll bet you'd get some serious bites on autotrader and even eBay at that price with those miles.

from day one that i've been here, i've noticed that there FS-car section of the rx8club has always been shy on bites. It slays me as to why this is, but nothing ever seems to get much attention here

at any rate, good luck whichever rate you do decide to go!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I really still like the car and could do without the extra debt from an Elise payment. I've posted this on a few forums and haven't gotten good feedback but I feel my price is more than fair for a well taken care of car. I will throw this on my local autotrader next week. I sold my M3 that way and the guy flew from CO to TX to drive it back.

Yep! He emailed me and showed me some pics a few months ago, looks like he is campaigning it in STU.
