yup, even I got tired of cleaning my car at one point. I dried it 3 times then gave up and just tried to enjoy the event. I'll wash my car tonight..

I left Oceanside at 9am, had an early afternoon meeting so I could only go for a couple of hours. Got as far as Las Pulgas Rd on the base and it was raining so hard, had to put the wipers on fast. So I just turned around and went home. How sad. Oh well, there's next year.

Cali rain isn't nearly as dirty as AZ rain.
A quick pull of a microfiber and my car was show-clean in a few seconds after each downpour.
I think I did that at least 5 or 6 times.
In AZ, a rain like that will make your car look like a piece of swiss cheese that got rolled in top soil.

Cali folks, quit your bitchin. We got dumped on on the way from AZ pretty good. The wipe down included road grime kicked up from semi's. My rear bumper was a shelf of dirt.
But the cars did look good before the trip! And after the first wipe down. And the second. I never went for a third, there was too much else to do.

taja = short azn with long hair, glasses, and driving a slow *** A/T Silver. He can usually be seen eating dust from Jedi's M/T which is about 20 yards ahead of him.
How'd I do?
