Sony headunits?

I'm looking to replace my head unit and add a amp and sub. I've always had Pioneer stuff in the past but this one particular Sony has caught my eye. It's a digital media receiver so it doesn't play cd's and it has bluetooth which is what I was looking for. But what makes this one pretty cool is that the ipod stores behind the headunit. it's pretty neat. Here it is http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...X-S300BTX.html I have no experience with sony car audio, but I've heard people bash the xplode stuff. Just looking to get some opinions. Or if someone could recommend a good headunit that would be great. I like the digital media receivers as all my music is on my ipod and I don't use cd's anymore.

Also lookin to get this sub/amp combo to save on space/weight. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...e+R300-10.html
