Last option for wheels, Enkei RPF1 in 17" or 18"?
OK guys this is my last wheel option and within my budget. Tell me what you think?
http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-tir...r%20Gloss.html
I'm thinking 17's with a off set? or 18's with a off set? I dont know yet cuz I dont know what off set to get in this kind of wheel.
So if I go with 17's or 18's what size with a off set can I get that will fit my 8 and that will fill my wheel gap (yes I'm getting springs )
2004 WB 6 speed.
Thanks for all the input!

There offset and sizes.. options are your friend
18x8.5 +30 and 18x9.5 +38 sounds nice.. maybe someone with more input can help clear this up.

If you have cut your springs, have lowered stiffer springs, or coilovers Enkei RP-F1 17x9 45mm offset and wow only 15lbs!!!!!!!!!!. What a sweet deal!! The big side benefit of 17s is you will maintain decent ride quality because your tires will be a bit higher aspect ratio. Rather than bouncy, bouncy, you'll be back to stock comfort levels, even on rough pavement. or any of the other 17s if you don't care so much about lowest weight.
If you are stock of course the 18x9 45mm offset 17lbs are the one. Or most any of the 18s are good again if you don't care about lowest weight.
Try to stay close to stock offsert of 50mm to keep the suspension working as designed. So 40-45 is what is best.

I'm getting the same wheels in 18X9.5 +45 with 265/35-R18 tires. There's a vendor on this forum that can give you a SWEEET deal on these wheels that makes the deal on the link you posted look like highway robbery.
Here's a link to the thread:

Send Endless Rotaries (aka Rishie) a PM with your zip and see what kind of deal he can give you.

^Dam a Spin you must track a lot lol I have three questions for you,
I had Tanabe GF210 springs on my old 8. Loved them.
If I get 17's will that make my speedo off?
Will they fill the wheel gap on my car? if you look at it from the side, the gap above the wheel and if you look at it from the back the way the wheels stick out?
Thanks!

1) yes - unless someone's as-yet-avail flash unit allows the change in the ECU where the wheel diameter is. Hint, hint.
2) I think they do, but it's your opinion that counts. What do you think?
3) To me they look fine, but unfortunately I don't have any from the back. Here's one from the front though...

dom i think these would look best on WB.
silver is just blah to me. it would be a sexy color combo for your car.

The Enkei 17 X 9 are exactly 15.4 lbs per wheel in silver. Scaled them today at the local PakMail store.
A 17 x 9 is perfect for a 225-245 tire. Plus you can lower the car just a smidge more. The handling on these cars is wonderful at a lower ride height (but not slammed). Consult your camber gauge and tire pyrometer for best results.
