Brake issues - they need to be change!!

I was wondering, if it's normal for my dealer to suggest that I'll chage both my original pads and original disks after not even 45 000 km??

I mean, pads I would understand but all four disks????

1st time I change my pads and know I gotta change my disks as well? Never raced the car, never brought it to a track, just normal city and highway driving.

Please advise,

Regards

With changing the disks/rotors, it depends on two things. Run-out and the amount of matterial left on the rotor. If both of these are within specs, then the rotors can be turned to eliminate the ridges. After turning the rotors have them finished with a non-directional pattern.
Normally you can go though one brake job and having the rotors turned. The second one they may need replacing. At 20,000 mi (30,000 km?) I replaced the pads without having the rotors turned. That was with some "aggressive driving".

Unless you measure the rotor thickness you will never know.

They will do anything to make money.

Ever seen or known poor people?

They replace the pads even with bad rotors. Car still works.
