Mine just started doing exactly this a few days ago, got really cold here so haven't tried sourcing it yet. It's so annoying cause even putting the music up doesn't drown it out.
did you find a solution? Did you take it to the glass shop to get it reseated?

two things jump out at me, noises can be tricky because they can be hard to duplicate, but if you get it to make the noise coming out of the driveway, you're in luck. getting it to make the noise under controlled circumstances is half the battle.
the other trick is that noise can transmit, and glass will reflect noise, so just because it sounds like the rear window, doesn't mean it is.
there is one infamous case where right after sept 11th, a protege 5 came in with a noise that sounded just like a wheel bearing. a new bearing did nothing, so they pulled the interior out, with no change, then the gas tank, rear suspension, etc etc. we were stumped, Mazda wanted to replace the transmission. we sent it to a different dealership, they called us back an hour later saying they fixed it.
then they called again saying they hadn't.
then they called again, the noise was the little american flag the guy had put on the roof... which actually isn't technically even under warranrty, but Mazda paid the 20+ hour claim, it was cheaper than a transmission.
the simplest way is to sit as close to the noise as possible while you have someone else drive in and out of the driveway.
plan B would be to remove parts until the noise changes/goes away.
