Lights Messed Up - tail & reverse
I've searched the forums and didn't see anyone having this problem, but I learned about alot of other lighting/electrical problems. :-)
My center brake light doesn't work, one of my reverse lights doesn't work, and the other reverse light is on when I brake (and when in reverse). Has anyone had this problem and figured out a solution?
Background: I just fixed the tail light fish-bowl problem, but that shouldn't be related, unless some of the water (or a fish or spider) got into the wiring and created a short.
I've already done the following:
- switched reverse bulbs from side to side. Its not the bulb or bulb-socket
- checked all fuses. Nothing's blown.
What I'll start with tonight:
- check/clean battery then disconnect/reconnect
- check center brake light bulb (but should be okay, since I recently replaced)
- check resistance/voltage in sockets & connectors
Any other suggestions?
